COMMITTEES

PROGRAMS COMMITTEE
Responsible for proposing, planning, and implementing programs for meetings of the Association and other special events, except programs or events sponsored by other committees.
MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE
Responsible for managing, retaining and increasing membership in the Association, including drafting and distributing the membership applications, the membership directory and organizing membership drives.
PUBLIC RELATIONS COMMITTEE
Responsible for the publicity of the Association’s activities, assisting the Executive Board in media responses, publishing the newsletter and identifying and implementing public service projects which further the purposes of the Association.
CLE COMMITTEE
Responsible for organizing and implementing CLE courses for the Association membership.
JUDICIAL COMMITTEE
Responsible for making the Association aware of judicial vacancies within the jurisdiction of the Association, for accepting applications for endorsements, for interviewing such applicants, and for making a recommendation to the Association of the most qualified applicant(s) for the judiciary.
NOMINATIONS COMMITTEE
Responsible for conducting elections of the Officers in accordance with Article VIII of the HTBA By Laws.
